The fence features a dovetail-shaped slot for mounting feather boards, sacrificial fences, and other accessories and jigs, making it highly versatile. Its dead-flat aluminum fence face resists warping over time, while the Hi-Low aluminum fence face two positions for added flexibility. The fence face slides forward and back, allowing use of the tail end as a stop block for crosscuts, preventing pinching of offcuts between the fence and blade. Separate scale indicators for high and low fence positions provide can’t-miss accuracy. Rollers at the tail end of the tube glide smoothly across the tabletop, reducing wear marks on cast iron surfaces.
