Sorby TurnMaster Excelsior Cutter, Square is a durable and extra-long lasting cutter designed for Robert Sorby's versatile TurnMaster Tool. This square titanium nitride (TiN) coated cutter is i for external roughing work and waste removal, while also being effective for tenoning and other straight line operations. The titanium nitride coated Excelsior tips deliver crisp detail and a fine finish, combining the same qualities as plain high-speed steel (HSS) with enhanced toughness and prolonged edge life thanks to the TiN coating, which has a Rockwell hardness of 90. Compatible with any of Sorby's handled or un-handled TurnMaster shanks, this cutter is also re-sharpenable, making it a reliable choice for woodturning tasks. Model Number: RSTM-GT3
