Sorby Micro Fluted Parting Tool, 1/16 in. This very fine Micro Fluted Parting Tool from Robert Sorby is designed for the delicacy and control needed in smaller projects and fine detail work. Featuring a unique flute running along the bottom edge, it creates two sharp spurs at the cutting face that sever wood fibers to produce a burnished finish. This results in a nearly seamless part, which is especially beneficial when matching grain patterns. The tool includes a 6-1/4" ash handle and measures 10" in total length. Crafted with a High Speed Steel (HSS) blade, it durability and precision. Made in England. Model Number: B87002W
