Sorby Standard Skew Blade, 1 in. is designed for turners who prefer crafting their own turning tool handles or for use with Robert Sorby Sovereign System handles. This blade excels in large spindle work such as kitchen table legs or newel posts, thanks to its rectangular section profile that adds extra weight for better control. It features a standard tip grind and is tanged at one end, measuring approximately 8-1/2 inches in overall length. Made from high-speed steel (HSS), the blade is 1/4 inch thick, ensuring durability and precision. For use with the Sovereign System, a tang collet adapter (85406) is required.
