It mixes easily with latex paints, reducing stirring time and enhancing the bonding of paint to surfaces, which maximizes hiding strength. This additive also improves flow and lubricates when using airless spray equipment, reducing equipment wear by up to 50% and allowing for lower spraying pressure, thereby extending the life of the pump. The normal mixing ratio is 1 quart of Emulsa-Bond to 1 gallon of latex paint. It can be applied by brush, roller, or spray and allows the paint to be topcoated in 4 hours or less.
